How to Make Iced Tea
Ingredients

8 oz water
-
1 tsp loose-leaf tea blend
-
sugar/sweetener to taste
-
ice
-
Optional - lemon, mint or fruit

Directions
Boil the Water
- Heat 8oz of water to about 190–200°F (just before boiling).
Steep the Tea
- Place 1 heaping teaspoon loose-leaf tea blend in a tea infuser, tea bags, or directly in the pot.

Steep for 5–7 minutes for a strong flavor.
Strain the Tea
- If the tea is loose, strain it through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
Sweeten While Warm
- Stir in sugar or desired sweetener while the tea is hot so it dissolves fully.
Cool & Serve
- Let the tea cool to room temperature.

Serve over ice with optional lemon slices, mint. or fruit slices

Sweeten While Warm

Add Milk
- Add warmed milk of choice and stir.
